Katina Finks

Katina has been making hair colorful for over 30 years. She is an independent stylist in Maryland, who owns a salon and specializes in fantasy color and extensions. Katina’s love of DreamCatchers hair extensions drove her to become an educator so she can teach and spread her love of extensions to other stylists. She believes it is so rewarding to show stylists of any age how to do something new. Katina’s favorite thing about extensions is giving clients the chance to achieve their “hair fantasy” by giving them the hair of their dreams. Seeing them look at themself in the mirror with confidence makes her so happy. Katina is also an Endo Warrior(a stage 4 endometriosis survivor), and feels strongly about health and fitness being a big part of battling endometriosis as a full body disease. She is educated on how endometriosis affects the hair and has some tips and tricks she has used herself to help. When she is not behind the chair she enjoys lifting weights, running marathons, traveling, long jeep rides, and spending time with her family which most recently includes grandbabies.
